Recap - Syracuse Select March Madness

The Titans opened the 2013 season over the weekend at the Syracuse Select March Madness tournament. It was a great event, and we got everything we were looking for in terms of competition and organization. All 4 Titans squads got off to slow starts, and it was evident that it was the boys' first time playing as a team. By Sunday we could see some progress which is sure to continue as the season progresses. Final results can be found online: 14U - 15U - 16U - 17U.

The Titans 16U team had a matchup they won't soon forget against the 2012 National Champion Syracuse Select team. Most of the Select team could be seen again the next morning in the Syracuse newspaper as they were named to the All-CNY team. The Titans 17U team lost their opener but finished with 2 strong wins, barely missing the playoffs. Judging from the boys' talk, everyone had a good time in Syracuse.
